This course provides an in-depth study of human embryology, focusing on the origin and development of tissues and organs from conception through prenatal and postnatal periods. Students will explore the critical stages of embryonic development, including the formation of germ layers, neural development, and the development of the primitive oral cavity and branchial arches. The course aims to enhance understanding of congenital anomalies and the etiological factors behind them, emphasizing the significance of each developmental stage in producing a healthy human being.
